• CookieQ works with any web server platform and any browser.
• Just paste the CookieQ button HTML into any web page where cookies are inserted.
• An optional and customizable reminder banner (see top of this page) can be displayed to visitors who have not yet opted-in.
• Your visitors can opt-in to or opt-out of your cookies. They only need to do it once, as their choice is remembered between visits.
• You can give your visitors the choice of opting in or opting out of all your cookies or just opting-out of your tracker cookies. By default, or if they opt-out, your cookies will be removed from your visitor's browser. If they opt-in your cookies will work as before. There is no need to confuse them with irrelevent technical information about your cookies.

• If you use services such as Google Analytics you can still legally gather useful statistical information about 100% of your visitors, irrespective of whether they have opted-in to your cookies. If they have not CookieQ ensures that cookies capable of identifying visitors are automatically removed. In addition CookieQ can be configured to signal when visitors are unique even if they have not opted in to your cookies.
• Visitors can see or change their opt-in status at any time. They can browse through all the cookies they have opted in to or opted out from, and can apply their cookie choices to all their devices.
• With CookieQ your visitor's cookie opt-in status can be independently proven.
• You can configure the button so that cookies deemed "strictly necessary to the operation of your site" are not removed.

• CookieQ indicates to web servers when visitors have previously agreed to cookies, even when their browser has inserted a DNT header.
