What sets Baycloud System's CookieQ product apart from other offerings is that, whereas other solutions rely on storage in the website publisher's domain, CookieQ is based on a technically sophisticated cookie consent storage system hosted by us in the cloud.
This Advanced CookieQ service uniquely enables us to manage 1st and 3rd party consent across multiple domains, a single web location where your visitors can manage their consent choices, and msny other features.
It also allows us to provide publishers with the ability to offer incentives to visitors consenting to their cookies, and manage new browser settings that give visitors control over 3rd party tracking on other sites.
However, we recognise that smaller sites may not require all of these features. For them we offer a basic version of the service which is free for smaller sites, defined as those whose total number of page views does not exceed 30,000 per month.
Both services give your visitors complete ability to give or withdraw their consent to your cookies at any time and support the Web Accessability Initiative. Both paid services are fully customisable to fit in with different website's branding and support multiple langauges. They both also support the ability to intercept 3rd party content such as twitter and facebook buttons and display indications to visitors who have not consented to 3rd party cookies, ensuring they do not receive them.
However the Advanced Service is able to retain a record of visitor's consent for 3rd party cookies which may have been obtained at other sites displaying the CookieQ button, and display that content unintercepted to visitors have already opted-in for that content.
We are absolutely committed to helping publishers protect the privacy of citizens or consumers. The only data we store is whether a website visitor has opted-in to cookies at a site and this will never be passed to anywhere other than the publisher's web server. This information can be deleted at any time by clicking our Forget button or link.

If CookieQ is hosted by us our pricing is based on the number of visitors who can opt-in to your cookies and the number of CookieQ button impressions per month your site makes.
This also means there are no costs incurred at your hosting provider for cookie consent registration.
If you display a single CookieQ in your site's master page or header template (which is the standard way unless you also display one or more of our ThirdParty buttons) the number of impressions would be the same as your monthly page view rate obtained from your analytics provider.
Each month we count the number of opt-ins and the number of impressions, and alert you if the number exceeds the number you have subscribed for.
If you do not wish to subscribe at the higher level, the record of the oldest ones above your subscription maximum may be automatically deleted These visitors may then be automatically opted-out of your cookies, though they will be able to opt-in again next time they visit your site.
